Staff treated me poorly when trying to return 2 heavy glass/mirrowed pictures. I set items down at nearest counter due to weight of items & did not stand in front of the cash register. I have severe rheumatoid,osteoarthritis & fibromyalgia. I smiled at the lady behind cash register but choose to ignore me. Then customer after customer walked up to her as she continued not to acknowledge me. Finally no one else came forward & she finally asked what I needed. I told her I had a return with my receipt. She approached the items with a not so friendly look at me. Guess because I did not come to her. She attempted to pick up items & I said to her that they were very heavy & that is why I waited for her to come to me. She scanned back of one picture & I handed my receipt & debit card to her. She told me that my debit card did not match the debit card numbers & said she would not refund my money. Then the other employee came around the counter and told me that no credit was to be given due to the mismatch of debit card numbers. Now this was only for $24.99 plus tax. I explained to them that my husband & I were there the previous weekend & he used his debit card from USAA bank to pay for items while I continued to look around. He & I of course have the same debit card from USAA bank. The woman with dark brown curly hair raised her voice at me & said she would not refund my money. I asked to speak with the manager & she said that she was the manager. I told her that I had brought a few items back for return from other times using same spouse debit card & presented mine & they always had refunded my money. She then yelled at me that they did not do that any more & she would not give me back my money. At that point I told her (in a louder voice by this time) that I had physical issues and could not carry items back to the car plus did not want the responsibility of the items possibly being damaged. She kept shaking her head no so I asked if I could leave items with my information on them & when my husband returned back from his business trip, he would come into the store with his debit card & receive our refund. She again yelled "NO" that there was no room in the store to leave items & she would carry them out to the car. I refused the offer because as I said once again I did not want them damaged in my car. With that she told me she was not taking them back & I could do whatever I wanted with them. So I told both of these ladies that if this is how a customer of 4 yrs. was treated, they could just keep the items & I would not be back to do business with them again. The manager just shrugged her shoulders as I turned & walked away. Long story short, I would not recommend this store to anyone , 2 people have never been cordial to me or my husband even when purchasing expensive items or items of lesser value. We have shopped Tuesday Morning from Dallas, Ft. Worth to Houston & these 2 employees are the only ones that I have ever encountered with such terrible customer service. Executives should be aware of the unprofessionalism from this Mason Rd. Store. From this latest experience, this store deserves a -O- STAR RATING!!! HAD TO MARK A ONE STAR SO I COULD FINALLY FINISH THIS REVIEW.
