Dr Hayes was to come to our home today to cut my boyfriends toenails. Previously, he had employees that did that, but they hurt my boyfriends foot and he let them know it and now they wont come back. Instead they sent Dr. Hays. We have dogs and they were outside, except for one that loves to jump the fence to get by the front door. I am handicapped and have a helper and she was attempting to get the dog and meanwhile, Dr Hays opened our front door, the dog ran in the house and he said "Screw this---I'm out of here!!" And he left. My helper is my boyfriends grandaughter and he said some other things that I will not repeat on here, as he stormed to his car. We have NEVER had this sort of problem with anyone that comes to our home at all...our dogs are like our children and dont feel someone should come in and demand what we should do in our own home. Dr. Hays did not even call us afterwards to work anything out. I will be reporting this and his actions to the AMA.
