I work close to Van's and it was recommended by someone where I work as being a great place. The pin in my transmission linkage broke in my Nissan. Nissan does not sell just the pin. They want you to buy the whole line over again. I checked with other shops and they confirmed this. Van's was able to use the pin from another model and repair my car for a dollar pin as opposed to a $250 linkage system. I felt they were great. They knew what they were doing and were willing to find a cheaper solution and save me money when possible.

Beware! Van's initially diagnosed our car and gave us an estimate. Then after they tore it apart contacted us and told us it would cost substantially more. Told them not to proceed with any further repair work. Had to pay them and had the car towed elsewhere. Once again, patronize them at your own risk. This was my experience
