The company expanded and evolved over the years to become a home improvement department store. The store sells a variety of products in its 13 departments, including building materials such as lumber, cement and drywall; tools such as electric power tools and pneumatic power tools; appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers and ovens; as well as electrical and plumbing products. The company also manufactures and sells pre-packaged homes and rents tools and construction materials. HPM Building Supply maintains five locations in Hawaii: three retail locations, a manufacturing and administration facility and a sales office.
