Spectraserv was incorporated in 1961 and trucked liquid wastes generated by municipalities to transfer stations or provided barge transport services for ultimate disposal at sea. Since that time, the firm has continued to expand services. Maintaining an emphasis on a hands-on approach, company capabilities have expanded to include a range of services for municipal and industrial pollution control facilities. The firm provides services through its construction and waste operations divisions along with its affiliates, Sanitary Waste Carriers and A & S Transportation. The companies employ more than 100 managers, engineers, scientists, mechanics, drivers, operators, craftsman and laborers that utilize tank trailers, vacuum trucks, barges, dewatering presses, construction tools and other specialized equipment to solve clients' solid waste and wastewater management challenges. Services include wastewater and water residual management; engineering construction; wastewater facilities, design and engineering; tank, pond and lagoon cleaning; and environmental services for food processing and industrial facilities.
