For a real race fan searching for a real racing experience, this is not the place to find it! The cost is definitely geared towards afforded for families, decent concessions for slightly inflated costs. Incredibly slow show, long cleanups, long pauses between evens, small car counts and weak racing. I am aware of politics in racing, having never been to the track before, it only took a single race of the modified division to get a snap shot of the politics that exist. The little potential the night had for some decent racing was squashed by two cars blocking the field, intentional wrecking of another competitor and calling the race, awarding the win to a driver with the same name as the company listed as running the event. It appeared to be the plan from the drop of the green flag. If an outsider can see this the small crowd had to be aware of it. That explains the massive lack of enthusiasm by the majority. I have never seen such a dead crowd, I wonder why people even pay to attend!
