I used to be a big fan of Tequila Mia's, and now I will never go back. I saw an ad for Tequila Mia's that said "Happy Hour 5-7, $2 margaritas". The ad also contained 2 coupons. One for $1 margaritas (2 per table) and the other for free queso with purchase of an entree. Even though it didn't say anywhere on the ads or coupons that you can't use both ait the same table, I know that most places won't let you so the first question to our aerver was "can I use both of these coupons?", and he said yes. We ordered queso, and 4 margaritas total (during happy hour). So that should have been a total of $6 right? Why was I charged $19 for our drinks and the $5.95 queso was still on our bill. When I mentioned it to our server he apologized and said he correct our bill. When he came back there there was only $7 taken off our bill. I asked to speak to the manager and he apologized and said he didn't charge us for happy hour and also stated that we weren't allowed to use both coupons at once. Well if I would have known that then I wouldn't have ordered queso (whoch came out after we were done with our food by the way. When she comes back, the queso was still on my bill and we were charged $2.25 for drinks instead of $2 like the ad says. She said she would give me my .50 back, but their prices have since went up since that ad. Well that ad had an expiration date of October and it says $2 margaritas. She also refused to take off the queso I got after we were done eating though our server said we could use both coupons bc he "swore to her" that he didn't say that. Obviously he either had a hearing problem or is stupid. All she could offer me was .50 and a coupon for another free queso that I wouldn't ever be using since I told her I would never be back. I didn't take our to-go queso or the coupon and was still charged $5.95 for something I never ate. I told them "wow. Way to run a business" and was told "way to be a good customer. Can't wait for this place to get shut down, because witj owners like that, I know it will.
