Provided by YPmobileThis is a terrible hotel. We stayed for a week in room 212. There are terrible bed bugs in this room. When my boyfriend told the woman that owns the place, she was very rude and would not allow us to change rooms and blamed us for the bugs. Prior to my stay, I had never seen a bed bug and had to google what they were when I found dead bugs in the bed and had bites all over myself. I have never been in such a terrible motel. I smelled this strong chemical smell in the hallway that I assume was someone making meth and no one seemed to notice. I would never reccomend this place to anyone.

Provided by YP.comMy parents stayed here when they first move here from Ohio. The hotel was in really BAD shape then and it does not look like it has improved much! During my parent's stay, there was a HORRID, unexcapable odor that lingered in the hallways that was mixed with the smell of mold and mildew in the room itself. The floors were weak so from mold and wood rot that my mom's foot sunk into the floor, covering her foot with water that came up from under the floor. GROSS! They turned this MOTEL into a HOTEL by covering the side walk with a roof and added an uninsulated outerwall. People do not stay here unless they are desperate, and the place has the local nickname of THE ROACH MOTEL! It is well worth it to travel on to the two more updated hotels if staying in Kendallville; that I promise you.
