If you are looking for a lender who is going to keep in touch with you and provide status updates on where your loan is along the process, or a lender who will give you an honest estimate on how long it will take... keep looking. I was told it would take two to three weeks to close once they had all my documents. It's been over 6 weeks and they just told me it would be at least another 2. Meanwhile friends of mine have been closing theirs no later than 4. Obviously this company has operational issues and should be avoided.
