Finding honest people to help you out when you are obviously in a tough spot is difficult. We were having a lot of trouble with our Bosch 250SX tankless water heater. Another plumber had been out to look at our water heater, but couldn't get far due to lack of knowledge of the tankless systems.



Danny (owner/operator) at "The Doorstep Handyman" was amazing. He promptly returned phone calls and took the time to understand the problem and explain our options. He was able to fit us in the very next day to ensure that we could get our hot water back. He is listed on Bosch���s website as a certified installer and quickly proved his knowledge of the unit. The tankless systems apparently require the use of expensive equipment to diagnose and repair the units, which Danny has.



Upon arriving, he was able to quickly discover the problem with the unit and repair it quickly. The real value in his visit is the amount of knowledge he gave us about the unit itself. Despite not having performed the initial installation himself, he provided a lot of advice about some things we could do to ensure that the unit functions properly for years to come. The advice given is not listed in the installation manual from Bosch, but made perfect sense once explained.



Danny's rough estimate over the phone prior to his visit was very accurate and fair. He is very personable and clean. I will not be talking to any other plumbers for as long as The Doorstep Handyman is still around.
