I recently moved to Marietta at the beginning of August. The previous owner of the house had trash and recycling pickup service with Freedom Disposal, which was paid through the end of September. They have picked up the trash each Tuesday morning, but have failed to pick up the recycling for the last 4 weeks. The first week I called, and they assured me it would be picked up the next day,... It was not. When they failed to pickup the next week, I called again, and they assured me it would be picked up the next day... It was not. After they failed to pick up in the 3rd week, I called and was sent to someones voice mail. I left a message, but nobody called me back. This is the 4th week they have failed to pickup again. I called and got the same voice mail, and left a more stern message. I am not holding my breath for a response. Worst customer service and most non responsive of any waste disposal company I have ever dealt with. I guess they will finally pick up the recycling when the service ends and they come and pick up their receptacles, if they actually ever get around to doing that. Luckily it was not me who paid for this joke of a recycling service.
