Provided by YP.comStaff and docs always willing to go the extra mile and focus on my kids needs. I used to be bothered by the occasional wait times, but that has improved but what changed my mind was when my child had to be ambulanced to the hospital. It felt like the entire office stopped to focus on her, and I am so grateful. I will happily wait without complaint, knowing that someone else's child might need that attention. People today think only of themselves, and I regret I used to be that type of selfish person.

Provided by YPmobileThe wait time here is unbelievable! My appointment was at 10, however, we still hadn't been seen by doctor at 11:10am. We ended having to reschedule. I'm just so pissed! Been coming here for 6 years and it's just gotten worse.

Provided by YPmobileThis place is a joke. They released my kid for no reason at all. She has been going there from the day she was born. And we get a letter in the mail. Stay far away from this place.

Provided by YP.comHello. This is Kennesaw Pediatrics responding to the review written on 1/22/2014 by "Mel M.":
Hello Mel M.,
I am sorry for any miscommunication that may of occurred. We do not call in prescriptions. It is our policy to always have the patient return to the office to conduct a thorough exam. This is done to ensure the treatment is successful, and no further complications ensue. Patient care and full recovery is our primary concern, as untreated childhood illnesses could have a lifetime of consequences.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office. We are always happy to help.

Provided by YP.comThe doctors and nurses are fine, but their business practices are very poor. I would not recommend them for that reason. We took our son there on a Friday and were told he had a sinus infection which was causing a bad cough. The doctor was very nice and said if he got worse over the course of the next few days, to call back and he would call in a prescription. When my son did indeed get worse after the weekend, I called to get a prescription and was told no, we had to come in. Sure enough, his sinus infection had caused a double ear infection and they prescribed an antibiotic and cough syrup. We were charged over $300 for the 2 appointments ($150+ each) when all we needed was an antibiotic. The person I spoke to about this threw the first doctor under the bus saying that he was new and that he didn't realize that it was company policy not to call in prescriptions. We still paid the price for the mistake. I feel like they stole from my son's college fund. Very poor.

Provided by YP.comBest place we have ever experienced. As a dad its torture to be the one to take the kids to the doc and remember everything my wife swore I would forget. All the docs are patient and caring. Their office is amazing combination of Disney meets St. Judes with how they combine all the technology that makes life so much easier. Patient Portal to keep track of things, online requests, bill pay.... and the are OPEN SATURDAY AND SUNDAY for their sick kids. No other docs in the area I found had that level of dedication. Doc even called me the next day to check on things and make sure we were all good.... ummm never got that in my previous kiddo doc shop. Sad to read the ridiculous reviews of some that clearly has issues outside the office. But my kids love their docs and going to the office and we wouldn't consider anywhere unless... and now a TEEN CENTER for my oldest boy.... man they grow up so fast.

Provided by YP.comI have used Kennesaw Pediatrics for my 2 children for 7 years now and love everything about the practice! It's clean, professional, wait time is minimal, and appointments for well and sick visits are easy to get. This month Dr. Long actually saved my son from unnecessary pain and suffering twice...once due to a concussion and next due to outpt surgery recovery. My son was seen in other settings first, and both times I took him to see Dr. Long because he wasn't getting better. Dr. Long diagnosed additional issues, and my son was feeling great within 24 hours! All of the doctors and staff are wonderful!

Provided by YP.comYou will not find a better pediatric office in town. We have three children and have been patients for several years. Dr. Long and Dr. Brugner have become part of our family. We have one child with special needs and Dr. Brugner has not only listened to our concerns and addressed them directly but also made recommendations for assistance and therapy we would never have thought of or known of. My children love the office. The atmosphere is kid centric and fun. The kids also know they get a popsicle at the end of each visit - a huge perk to those who have to get shots! I recommend his pratice above and beyond any other. We have been with KenPeds from newborn to pre-teen stages with our kids and every question and concern has been addressed above our expectations. They are always my first point of reference anytime I have a medical question and the staff is always happy to help, not annoyed like other offices we have been to.
The very best in medical child care!

Provided by YP.comI did a review in December of 2007 and just wanted to come back and say... here I am a year later and still love this office. My son actually likes going to the doctor because it is so fun! But like the parent in the review below said... that is all great but it all boils down to great... exceptional care and that is exactly what we get at Dr. Long's office! I am so glad we found them!

Provided by YP.comMy step-daughter loves seeing Dr. Long. She feels very comfortable seeing him as he makes her visits "fun visits". The office is so "kid friendly" from the moment you walk into the office. The first thing you see is the huge train track in the ceiling that kids can activate by pushing the big red button on the wall & it extends both waiting rooms. There is a beautiful salt water aquarium, flat screen tv's in both waiting rooms and in the exam room.I love how clean and sterile the office is and I am also impressed that there is a totally separate entry to the newborn waiting room too. I could go on and on about how great it looks but it truly boils down to one thing and that's how your treated by the staff (which is so friendly and welcoming the minute you walk in the door) from the girls in the front to the nurses & doctors in the back. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this office to everyone!
