Since 2002 I have worked as a freelance designer in the Atlanta area. I have many freelance projects such as quarterly magazines for the NFA (Burger King Franchisee Organization) and MAADA (Metro Atlanta Automobile Dealers Association). I design marketing materials for TRT, Its for Vets (veterinarian medical supply company) and Horizon Industries (Office furniture supplied company). In addition to directing workflow and working with upper management, my daily dealings include art and copy layouts from creation through production for material to be presented by visual communications (e.g., ads, magazines, newsletters, brochures, direct mail, books, exhibits, websites, and packaging design). My experience as a freelancer and an employee at Life University, NCI and Charter Advertising has afforded me the opportunity to develop my skills as a team leader. Responsibilities have included managing a team of designers, working with department heads, editors, photographers, outside consultants and print vendor.
