Won't ever shop there again. The woman that helped us was very rude. Don't be in the business of selling if you're not willing to be kind to your customers.

I went in to McLimans to talk to them about selling some furniture by hinkel and harris, very expensive furniture. Basically i got about 3 words out to the man behind the desk, and he stated he wan't interested and i could e-mail him some pictures if i liked and he would be back to me in a few weeks? HIS LOSS, I SOLD THE FURNITURE FOR WELL OVER 15000 I was born and raised in unionville and he is a disgrace to the blue bloods of unionville

Shopping Here for 17 years!

My home is furnished with items we have purchased at McLimans over the past 17 years. I LOVE the variety they have from week to week & that many pieces will be hard for others to run out & copy. The employees there have always been wonderful & help with anything you need. The one thing I can warn you about is that you'd better buy it when you see it. It likely won't be there tomorrow if you wait, but that is the fun of shopping for one-of-a-kind items!

Local

In contrast to the above review.

I find McLimans to be one of my favorite places to browse. The staff are knowledgable, the prices are fair and the quality is exceptional. I don't want to be fawned over, I just want to shop - though when I need assistance it is readily available. And - they keep a "wish list" if you don't see what you want, they'll keep and eye out for it - and they really do call you!

Need to work on Customer Service

The people who work here need to work on customer service. It does not exist there. The woman at the desk acts like you are bothering her when you walk in. She did it to everyone who walked into the store. The man who buys the furniture speaks to you like you are an idiot. I would NOT recommend this store to anyone. I actually left the store crying because the people were so rude.
