USED BOOK TRADE-IN POLICY When you bring your good condition books in for trade, you will receive 1/4 of the cover price in store credit to use towards other used books in our store. Every effort is made to accept books that were purchased from us, providing they are in resalable condition. Any books not purchased from us are subject to condition, quantity needed and our ability to resell the book. CREDIT can only be used towards other used books DISCOUNTS: We offer teachers up to 20% off most of our new books that will be used in the classroom. We also offer up to 15% off new books for any customer who has a free account with us. PRICING: We sell our used books for 1/2 the publisher's cover price. Books that are less than 1/2 price are marked accordingly. If we are selling a book for less than 1/2 the cover price, upon returning that item for store credit you should receive 1/2 of the price you paid. This includes Juvenile books. WE DO NOT ACCEPT hardcover books if they are available in paperback whether they have our price tag or not (Juvenile & non-fiction do not apply), textbooks, comic books, magazines, books we are overstocked on, books that are in poor condition whether from us or not (water damaged, stained/soiled, falling apart, etc........), or any books we feel we cannot resell. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for ANYitems we did not take in for trade. ANY items not accepted for store credit MUST be picked up by the end of the same business day they were brought in or the will be donated and/or disposed of. SERVICES WE OFFER TO YOU SPECIAL ORDERS: We can order books we do not have in our store. Most titles are available within three business days or less. Some special orders can take up to six weeks depending on the availability of that item. Special orders must be paid for in advance and may qualify for a discount of up to 15%. ON-LINE SPECIAL ORDERS: We are happy to order a book for you on-line. On-line purchases are non-refundable and must be prepaid or the order will not be placed. No store credit can be used on on-line orders. Any on-line orders are subject to an as needed bases upon returning them to the Bookworm. HOLDS: We are happy to put books on hold for you. Used books will be held up to 7 business days. Once the 7 days are up the books will go back on the sales floor. Brand new books can be held for 24 hours before being returned to the sales floor.
