My friend took me here as a 30th birthday "activity". It was a really fun experience. I picked out a beer mug to paint. There were so many cute things to choose from, it was really hard deciding!



We sat down with our items and were instructed to choose as many colors as we wanted, but to make sure to paint 3 coats of each color so it would be nice and bright when it came out.



My friend and I sat painting for about 2- 2 1/2 hours. I painted a beer mug (for my husband) and she did a butter dish. The women manning the store didn't bother us at all and were very pleasant.



When we finished, we paid for the items (the price includes the paint, glaze and firing) and initialed our item so it was easy for them to match it back to our names when they were done.



I just picked the mug up today and I love the way it turned out! I am not an artist nor am I very artistic in general but I didn't feel like I had to be either. I liked the cupcake cookie jar in there so much I told my husband we would have to go paint it together for a date night!
