If you're experiencing sleep problems, you could be one of millions of Americans with sleep apnea or another sleep disorder. Sleep disorders can increase the risk of stroke, heart attack or fatigue-related accidents if left untreated. At the our Sleep Disorders Center, we treat people with sleep and breathing disorders. Our clinic was the first sleep medicine facility in the Tri-Cities to be fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine in 1995. With our experience and advanced technology, we offer a track record of success in helping patients get the sleep they need for improved health and vitality. We offer comprehensive services including: * Consultation with a Physician * Sleep Studies * Diagnosis and Treatment * Personalized Fitting of Breathing and/or Sleep Devices * Sleep Equipment and Supplies A visit to the center if often prompted by a spouse's concern for the patient's snoring or other sleep problem. Additionally, physicians also refer patients who complain about fatigue. An initial consultation with Dr. Hamner determines what's needed. He may prescribe a sleep study. A sleep study is a painless, noninvasive way to evaluate the patient's sleep behavior, for example, snoring, sleeplessness, erratic breathing, leg jerks, etc. We accept most health insurance plans and we accept group health patients.
