Large money, small portions. The place has not been updated for 30 years or more. Two broken seats at the counter for at least five years. Menus updated with "white out" and ball-point price increases. Omelets and skillets made with robin's or hummingbird's eggs. Really, two slices of white toast for $ 1.75 ? Can't even change the faded signs in the windows when they wash them ? Oh, wait, that never happens. Hey, that's hilarious : the sign always says "Open", even when the place is closed except for 27 hours a week. But, the "For Sale" sign has been there forever. Wonder why ?

Give Olive Tree a pass. Wait in line for Frank's or go to Tommy's Home Run, Marina Garden, The Coffee Pot, The Boat House or Three Heavens ; maybe the Uptown Cafe for much better eats. Heck, why not McDonald's or BK ?

Olive Tree can't sink much lower. Don't waste your time or go down with that ship.
