I love going to Carpenitos! It's the best place around to get flowers and garden starts in the spring, local produce all summer, and the best corn on the cob, hands down.

Purchased (8) Fruit trees bare root after tree months of no growth on two of them took them back for a refund. Was given all kinds of BS by some Mexican looking fellow. Said if he put them in a Green House BOOM! they would grow! that there still dormant. After 60 more days of no GROWTH in my Green House. Went to Lowe's and purchased two more trees that are GUARANTEED for (1) year to grow or my money will be refunded. I didn't like the way I was treated after spending a lot of money at this place will NEVER GO BACK. as these trees were treated properly by me I did nothing wrong.

After paying for our Christmas tree I was trying to find help to get it in our truck. Apparently this was the wrong procedure. I was suppose to let them know which tree I wanted before purchasing it. So I was first accused of perhaps buying one earlier that day and trying to get a free one by using an old reciept and he was sure he had seen me there earlier!! and after he got over that I was accused of perhaps swapping tags with a more expensive tree!! My whole family was appauled! We have bought a flocked tree there for 12 years and never had this kind of customer service! This guy was horrible! The one star is for the tree.

Get our Xmas tree there every year. best selection, they load. and are alway friendly. have got gravel, soil and the people that fill the truck load as much as we ned. If I ever felt the were under, I would bet they would just add somemore if asked.

Told cashier wanted to shovel bark myself into my truck, he said go ahead and when done then pay. A guy white pickup truck started to swear at me and became hostile. I came to realize that he was a manager that work there. He accuse me of stealing and i laughed..The loader could have filled it for me but said nothing.. I didnt mind filling the bark into my truck and it was my choice to do it.. The price was pretty good but didnt like being disrespect by this idiot person whom needs angry management...

This place is the best! They grow alot of what they sell and its always really fresh, not like the grocery store fruits and veggy. Go get some corn, you will love this place.

This is a very important question. Does Carpenito Brothers spray chemicals in their produce? If yes, I would not buy their fruits and vegetables even if they look gorgeous. People be aware!

The loaders there will always try to short your load of Bark or Topsoil. Go elsewhere for those type of products. Loaders are rude and I always need to complain about them shorting me on the quantity of bulk material
