DO NOT GO HERE. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I have an English bulldog that needed an ex ray to see how many puppies she was pregnant with. I waited 15 min to get into the exam room which wasn't bad. Once in the exam room was greeted by the nurse promptly. Then for 45 min not one person or vet cam in the room. I went out and asked the lady at the desk and she went and talked to the people in the back and then told me I was next. Then another 25-30 min went by and still not one person came into my exam room. Again I asked the front desk and she went back and asked and this time the first nurse I saw came in and told me she will speak with the vet. I could hear the vet in the hall say "I never said any one was next and she is just going to have to wait cause now I am going in back for surgery, so that's just to bad." ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Then the nurse came back in and had the nerve to tell me I could just leave my dog there and they would get to her when they could. It is a 5 min ex-ray and my dog hasn't eaten yet I am not going to leave her there all day till they feel like it. I was then out side talking to my sister about what just happened and some guy that had his dog was standing there, the nurse had the nerve to then come out and ask the guy if I was bothering him. (FYI- The clinic wasn't even full there were me and 2 other people there when I got there, so no excuse)

The Value Pet Clinic sent out a ValPak coupon to Seattle residents this week that advertises "50% off Cat Declaw. For them to PROMOTE via a discount such a controversial procedure is unconscionable in my view. A snippet from http://About.com below:"Declawing & Humane AlternativesNorth America Lags Behind the Rest of the WorldBy Franny Syufy, http://About.com GuideThe United States is way behind the rest of the civilized world in its attitude toward declawing of cats. Declawing has been illegal in England for several years. Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Wales, Finland and Brazil are among the many countries that either consider declawing illegal or inhumane, and only allow it under extreme circumstances. More and more savvy cat aficionados, Cat Fancy organizations, and veterinarians in the United States are mounting protests against declawing, calling it inhumane and unnecessary."

I love this vet clinic. We have never had any issues here. The vets are great, the staff is great. The negative reviews seem to all be related to people who could not follow directions or are just angry because they came in expecting free services. Come on people! I have never been to a vet that gives away free services! Please judge Value Pet Clinic yourself... they are great and I won't go anywhere else!

Not poor, terrible. Caused my cat to jump out of my car! They just lost my business and I I have been their client for over 5 years, maybe more. We've spend thousands of dollars at their clinic with two dogs and two cats. Today I took my cat in there for the 4th time in as many months. I did not have a cat carrier so I had my cat in a box. When I arrived today I purchased a $10.00 cardboard cat carrier from them. After my cats exam I realized that I did not have my wallet in my purse. I offered to pay with a check and not only did they refuse, they demanded the cat carrier back. My cat was already in the carrier, I removed her and of course she managed to jump out of the car. They did bring out a net and we were lucky enough to get her back. This was an embarrassing and stressful experience for both me and my cat. They obviously forgot that I have lots of choices where I can take my business and I always vote with my check book.

I've taken my animals to many many veterinarians and they have never loved a vet as much as they love the veterinarians at Value Pet Clinic in Kent. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for knowledgeable doctors, friendly staff and GREAT prices.

I cant say enough good stuff about the Kent location. I brought my dog which is a large lab mix into the vet because he had a lump on his leg. My dog was 10 years old very scared. They came out and helped us get him into the office. They were very patient as this was not a small task for a 100lb dog. We had to sedate him because he was getting himself all worked up. They took xrays and he had bone cancer that had spread throughout his body. There was nothing we could do, we had to put him down. They gave us all the time we needed, we had him cremated. Before we decided on cremation, I asked for a detailed bill on what it would cost. I was shocked at how low the cost was! The vet was very compassionate, as were the staff. I also have a smaller dog and do still go to this clinic.

Actually really like this office but I have a suggestion for them. My daughter brought home a stray cat that turned out to be pregnant. Took her in for an exam. Everything was great. After the kittens were born (5) I called to see if I could get them and mom cat checked out to make sure all was well. They wanted to charge the $28 exam fee for every "cat". Now, I have no problem with that charge for the mom cat but they should at least have a litter rate. I think paying $180 to have them looked at is a little ridiculous. It's not like they will be doing labs, etc. I would have paid, say, $10/kitten but not the full $28. Maybe a juvenile exam fee for animals under 8 weeks. Still like them, just disappointed :(

Im not sure where these negative reviews came from. I took my dog in as she was getting attacked with fleas and the flea med's were not working. They gave me an internal flea medicine, cortizone shot and follow up med's for a great price. Yes, they push products etc. but the doc I had was very compasionate and helpful.

I had my dog diagnosed with bone cancer in the front left leg the X-ray showed a fresh clean break that was most likely done while being X-rayed at the KENT Clinic, so of course the vet recommended amputation, to hide the fact that they broke his leg during the exam. When it was gone, I was unable to pay the full amount and they refused the follow up care and his pain medication, I guess I should have put him down....or taken him to a vet that actually cares for the animal more than their wallet!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAD VET!!!!!!!!! Take your Pets all the way to Renton Office where they actually care, and the girls in the office are not such B$%%#ches!

maybe the other ones are professional.I took my cat there to have a vaccina the dr.... I think was Dr Susan, she didn't know to apply the nidle inside the skin (how to aply the injection. I saw how she applied the nidle, so my cat jumped and screemed and even not a half of the medicine got inside of my cat's body.I took my cat to vaccination so many times to doctors and that never happened before. She didn't know to apply injections.Maybe she learned by now.even seen that the dose of the medicine didn't go through, she didn't ask me to aply another dose again.poor cat! screemed soo bad because the nidlle in the wrong place of his body...I would never go back there again; even if they offer me free service.
