At the end of April I looked at an apartment that was not availAble til May 21

I put down $50.00 to hold the apartment,less than 1 week later, I called and let them know that I wasn't going to be able to take the apartment and requested my$50.00 hold back, and I was told NO, I do not think since I gave them plenty of time to rent this apartment that gives them the right to pocket my $50.00, very uncourteous staff.
