The Kerr County Jail is administered by the Kerr County Sheriff's Office. The jail accommodates more than 190 inmates and is located in Kerrville, Texas. It has over 35 employees. The jail conducts certification classes for correction officers and offers a large commissary selection. The Kerr County Sheriff's Office offers a range of law enforcement services. Its communication division handles emergency and nonemergency calls. The sheriff maintains a patrol division that uses Ford Crown vehicles equipped with radar units and video cameras. It also maintains a warrant division that assists the jail division in transporting inmates to courts. The Kerr County Sheriff's Office additionally offers home security services in partnership with the Texas Department of Insurance.
