Provided by YP.comKickapoo Kamp for Girls offers so many good things for girls. They can establish long lasting friendships with fellow campers and counselors. As one of the oldest camps in the hill county, many traditions still live today that everyone at the camp loves. The two tribes, Cherokee and Choctaw, make a great friendly rivalry for all campers. The pep rallies and competitions for tribes bring out the spirit in everyone. The big and little sister program is great to make younger girls more confident and having someone to look up to, while the big sisters have a chance to become a great role model. The food in Lodge is fantastic and mainly healthy, but especially delicious. Activities that keep everyone's interests in mind are fun things such as riding, swimming, riflery, archery, ping pong, tennis, volleyball, water ski, arts and crafts, creative writing, gymnastics, cheer, and more. Girls look forward to the end of camp but are very sad to leave their second home. The end of camp holds Banquet Dinner and the Talent Show, Closing Awards Ceremonies, and Blanket Night. No matter which tribe wins that term, the girls leave camp with one experience they will never forget.
