The company s headquarters is located in Avenal, Calif. with more than 50 growers adding to the Keenan crop. Keenan Farms markets a range of retail and bulk packaging options for domestic and export shipments. Keenan Farms began in 1972 when Charles Keenan purchased 100 acres of newly planted pistachio trees in Avenal, California. With the first crop, Charles and son Robert decided to invest in their own processing equipment as the nearest processing facility was more than 100 miles away.
