A most pleasant location to enjoy a summer or autumn day. The views of the lake especially if you're fortunate to be able to stay lakeside are truly memorable. I don't claim to be a connoisseur of fine wines and can't tell you how the taste starts out as summer apples and finishes with the taste of burnt rubber but I do know what tastes good, and there are more selections to bring home, that deciding how many and not which one becomes the challenge. My wife and I have visited several wineries and maybe find one selection that we both agree will be enjoyable,but Yates truly has some of the finest wines I've had the pleasure to enjoy. We were well taken care of by the owner and his friendly staff. We were given a pair of fine wine glasses with our first purchases and a substantial discount the next time we visited. It is now a few short weeks before Christmas arrives and our holiday stash is all but gone. It looks like friends and family will have to fend for themselves because the season for sharing has been stolen by Ebeneezer Scrooge.
