HUI has been in the Kiel, Wis., area since 1933. The company provides design, manufacturing, assembly and supply chain management to customers. Each customer is assigned a customer business development team that includes a sales engineer, design engineer, process engineer and manufacturing engineer. This team, depending on the customer s needs, will participate in design review process, design products that meet aesthetic and functional needs, assist engineers with design optimization for cost and manufacturability, reverse engineer products and manage product revisions. Through self-directed manufacturing cells, HUI provides the customer with prototypes in 72 hours and a fabricated, powder coated and assembled product in less than 10 days. HUI employs three fabrication cells that all have laser, punch, bend, weld and finishing capabilities.
