We came to Maui for vacation in August 2013 and had to get a tattoo while I was there . I was looking for a Polynesian Tribal turtle . I located this shop Hot Rod Tattoo,(which by the way changed their name to Gas Monkey Tattoo) . I met Rich the owner, great guy very easy going, helped my find the tattoo that I wanted, he changed it up a little to make it "mine". It came out great I am very pleased with the results. My wife also got her 1st tattoo there with me , Rich was very gentile with her and made her experience a pleasant one. I highly recommend this shop if your in Maui , and I am looking forward to come back for another tattoo on my next trip to the Islands. Thanks Rich for your help.

I went to Maui in Feb for my sisters wedding and what a place to get married! I was looking to get a tattoo before I left and was driving up and down S. Kihei Rd looking for a parlor when I came across Hot Rod Ink Tattoo. I made an appointment for the day before I left for the mainland with ease. I had 7 tattoos until I got this one and I tell you this is the best work I've had done so far!!! The price was right and the work was excellent, Thanks Nate and Hot Rod Ink Tattoo!!!,
