About We are an interfaith organization supported by local faith communities, civic groups, other non-profit organizations, governmental enities and individuals that provide emergency gap services to people on the Outer Banks, the working poor, community members who have no other place to turn for help. The mission of the ICO is to provide assistance to persons in need facing temporary, emergency crisis. Our dream for tomorrow is to network the faith communities and other community partners on the Northern Outer Banks of North Carolina to provide those who have no place else to turn for help when facing temporary emergency crisis in thier lives.
