Thank god it's over!

So we worked with this woman Shanell who was fun and helpful in the beginning, looking at houses in good locations, but it went downhill overnight! She became pushy asking if we made a decision after the 2nd time viewing homes. Following her to the homes was terrifying as it was with her driving. U-Turns every corner, pulling out infront of vehicles and taking off leaving us behind. Then once we finally found a beautiful home which we thank her for finding us everyday, she became almost non-existant. She never answers her phone, she tells us to get certain paperwork/quotes/estimates in order with a sense of haste yet she doesn't help in the least. She doesn't return calls yet she will send 3 full length texts in succession? And this will happen all the way up to closing! She will tell you she will contact you with everything you need to bring to closing but then you wont hear back from her at all! The day before closing, nothing! I hope the other realtors there are better!

Embarrassed Owner

As an owner I'm embarrassed to face the tenants in my property. Century 21 has charged me for repairs they haven't done and turned my beautiful property into a dump. They have a habit of doing half the repair but charging me for the complete no paint and leaving other holes in the house, or just charging for a repair not even done. They have also charged me for things such as cleaning after a tenant moved out and charged the tenants deposit. I will not take this lying down and encourage other owners to step up and and do the same. Century 21 is liable for all attorney fee's. And if they cannot provide reciepts of labor (which they are magically disappearing from C21 files and were never sent to me) the man from C & A Maintenance is the ex husband of one of the women from C21 rentals, and he can start producing them. I have heard my last lie and last excuse!

Don't let them keep on doing it!

Why don't any of you guys file a complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission (tennants or owners)?? Just Google TREC for their contact information if you don't know how to contact TREC. If they are affiliated with Century 21 / Diamond Realty and they don't pay attention to complaints from anyone else, maybe they would listen to someone who can revoke their Licenses if they don't make right! Maybe you can get some help regarding what they have done to you, and help make sure they don't do it to the next guy!!!

Lies and more lies

We began renting a property in August from a property managed by Diamond Rentals and am being forced to move after having been notified that the property was sold at public auction after having been foreclosed on by the bank. The previous owner of the property is co-owner and manager of Diamond Rentals in Killeen and she refuses to refund my $1000 deposit nor pay for the damages caused when the garage door came off the track and fell on my car. Ms. Samuel clains she is not repsonsible for any deposit return and denies she was the owner, however, Bank of America confirns she was. We will be out of the home on Tuesday as requested by the new owner but I am seeking an attorney to file for damages to my car and the return of my deposit.

Two months and already receiving a foreclosure letter from the bank.

I am a current renter of 21 Century Diamond Rentals. I move my family here from Savannah, GA and I am military. When we moved into the place, the maintenance was there fixing holes in the walls. The house owner still had alot of their personal belongings in the place. The pool had not been cleaned. The house was filthy. There was dog and cat hair everywhere. The back door was half eaten by a dog. They still charged me $1,250nonrefundable pet deposit for my 4 dogs and a cat. They said the door was on order. Its been two months and still no new door. Ants were coming from every wall after they said they had it exterminated. We spent one whole week cleaning the house. They even left theirtrashWe received a notice this past week that the house will be going into foreclosure proceedings from the bank. Its been only two months since we moved in. Whats really sad about this whole situation is the owner of the house works as the office manager within Century 21 Diamond Rentals.Worserentalplace

Half truths, smoke and mirrors

After having paid for several small repairs to made to two of the three properties this organization manages for me, I decide to inspect the repairs myself. Very shortly after my arrival I learn that no repairs had been made although monies had been withheld 2 months prior. The tenants in both cases indicate the issues have gone unresolved for several months now. Diamond Rentals indicated this would be taken care of without additional expense to me. Two weeks later I get bill emailed to me by the owner's wife Debbie for the repairs. Frustrated I contacted both Diamond Rentals as well as one of the tenants that had the a busines card from the repair service that provided the repairs. I was able to reach the repair service and learned the fee charged to the management company was almost half what I was billed for. Debbie claims it's merely a simple mistake but it has become one of many "simple" mistakes. Be extremely cautious doing any business with Century 21 Diamond Realty / rtentals.

Very Bad Rental Property Management

We reported a problem with our sliding glass door 4 months ago, it has no weather striping, which means there is 3/4 inch gap between the two doors, letting all the outside air in, which makes our electric bill $300+ every month. No one has bothered to fix the problem. We call to remind Century 21 Diamond Realty about every 2 weeks, they always say they will put in a work order on it. No one in their office has an recall of any of our prior calls each time we speak with them. It would seem that after 4 months someone would have come to fix the problem, or atleast tell us how much longer we will have to wait. They cant seem to pull up any work order -- every two weeks they just say that they will put a work order in. It seems very disorganized. WARNING: BAD Management. Beware

Don't rent from them! Take your hard earned $$ elsewhere!

As a renter, I DO NOT recommend this place. First off, I put a deposit down on a home and signed the paperwork. When I arrived there with the moving trucks a week and a half later, they had no idea who I was, and the place was still up for rent! They didn't know where the keys were as well. When we finally were able to get into the house, it was an absolute mess (for example, the fridge still had food in it even though the electricity had been off for some time, and the fan blades of the ceiling fans had at least 2 inches of dust on them). There were holes in the walls, and the carpets were filthy and needed to be replaced. I bet you're thinking, "Why did you move into this house if it was in such disrepair?" Number one, I was reassured that the house would be ready in time, and number two, why were they showing this house in such horrible condition to begin with? I had to BEG and PLEAD for the carpets to be replaced in the living room and the bedroom. It took them a year to eventually

Never had any issues as a renter, and all issues taken care of immediatly...

I am a renter with Century 21, Diamond Realty and love their customer service in the rental dept. I have been stationed at Ft. Hood twice now and the first time I rented from them they had my apt. ready and cleaned for me to move in. I was traveling from Arizona with my family and showed up during after hours of the buisness. They still met me to get me my key so that my family and I could move in. Now that I am back again I was so impressed with them that I immediatly contacted the rental dept. and they had several houses ready for me to look at. I did find one I liked but it needed some work done. They had new carpet, a cleaning crew, and new tile put in with in weeks. Now during my stay I have come across other issues that never got ignored by their rental dept. They have replaced my garage door opener, locks, and complete fence since then with in days of my issues. I would personaly say they are an outstanding company and I would rent or buy from them first.

Unprofessional and No Follow Up

We began renting in May 2009 from Century21-Diamond Realty. The overall experience has been disappointing. The house was not cleaned nor the carpets shampooed before our move in date. We brought this to their attention, and they did a very poor job at cleaning (1/2inch thick dust in the bathroom, personal hygiene items left in the cabinets with 1/2 inch dust on them - so there is no way they even attempted to wipe these areas down. Walls dirty, animal hair everywhere, base boards filthy, tubs dirty, tile floors sticky ect....) We were happy with the carpet cleaning, which was done by a professional 2 days after our lease started. My husband and I ended up cleaning the house ourselves from top to bottom before we could ever unpack. We requested that our rent be prorated for the day that they were "cleaning" and the day the carpet was shampooed (since it was done after our lease began and we could not move in until this was done, they have not gotten back to us about this issue yet (it i

Not worth your time, money, sanity

I have been an owner with Century 21 Diamond Rentals for several years and I have had my fill of them. Initially, the rental property staff were doing a good job but everything changed. Every estimate that I receive for repairs is inflated, my requests for photos, comparable estimates, and simple return calls are constantly ignored. My property has been vacant for 8 months now and they are making no effort to have it rented, in fact, I have not gotten any correspondence from them since January 2009 and it is now May 2009. With the how being near a major military installation, 3 bdrms, 2 bths, 2 car garage, it should never be empty. It gets better. I just got a notice from the city that my property was inspected and the grass is more than 12 inches tall. How does that happen when the property is being managed by C21? Go figure.
