do not rent from JWC

This is the worst management company that I have ever worked with!!! I have lived in NJ and Jersey, so I know what I am talking about. The won't let you sign a 12 month lease, and then they raise the rent every 6 months. It took over a month to get a repair. They didn't inspect the property, so they didn't give me a lease renewal. When I called to ask about the required notice time, they asked about my lease, and didn't disclose anything more. I received a bill for going month-to-month. I had ever requested it. So, when I went to the office, they told me that they had not done their required inspections, and that I needed to sign the new lease... which was 50 dollars more a month. REALLY? I was broken into and I had to pay for the repairs to the windows. This is just the worst company, REALLY!!! I am not going to move out of Killeen, but I am moving out a JWC managed property. They have to realize that we the renters are paying them, NOT the people that are letting them rent

Slow and Rude

I have lived here for about 2 years and bottom line is they suck!!! Every time I put in a work order it takes them about 2 weeks to get it fixed and I am told the same excuess everytime "Oh we have to get permission from the owners" so i asked is there a time limit for the owners to respond to a work order? Their simpile answer is "No". It's true I delt with a leaky toilet for about 3 weeks untill the owner got out here just to make sure I was not lieing about it. And before you write anything. Here is something about the staff there. They are very rude and I will name, names whenever I would call the mantince department and speak to Crystal she always gave me attidude once she told me "Sir stop calling about your work orders we will get to it when we get to it" Nice company you run their Mr. Wright. Oh and all this B.S you told the other person "We have been selected THE BEST property management company in the Fort Hood Area 3 years in a row!!" Thats cause your the only big rental com

Lazy and greedy

My boyfriend stayed in one of their apartments years ago, the door fell off the henges and they took 2 days to fix it! They kept our deposit even though it was in tip top shape when we left it, probably even better than it was when we moved in! How hard is it to keep a 1 bdrm apartment clean? The staff is RUDE and I haven't met one happy customer of theirs ever.

Money Hungry

My husband and I rented 2 apartments from them. They kept the deposit, and charge you for every little thing. They kept and charged us over 200 dollars when we treated the place like our own and cleaned it really well before we left. We tried another apartment they said that there was a washer and dryer hook-ups and made the down deposit then took a look at the place. We found out that there wasn't, and that we wanted the deposit back. They refused to and we kept on getting on their butt and stayed there until they gave it to us, and went to another place to get an apartment.
