Quality Time Daycare in Killeen is filthy and has security issues. My husband and I took several days off to visit many daycare facilities in this area for our infant. We chose this one thinking that it was nice and with friendly staff. We were very wrong. The childcare providers who took care of my daughter were wonderful, but the director was unprofessional and has no regard for the safety of the children. There was a day when I walked in and nobody was at the front desk (anybody could have just walked in), I just stood there and walked around the front area for a bit and finally the director walked out of her office crying. She explained that she was in her office because she was crying due to a personal matter. How terrible….the director went into her office and left the front desk without any staff just so she can cry due to personal reasons? How unprofessional of her, and how unsafe for all the kids in the facility. This facility does not have any surveillance cameras so leaving the desk unmanned should not have been an option for the director. That incident was NOT the only time I noticed that the front desk was left unattended. As I mentioned before, anybody could have come in and walked around the facility.

Also, I noticed after a few times upon immediately entering the facility that the floors were dirty and it smelled horrible in the main room area where the toddlers played.

One particular staff member has her infant son in the infant room while she works at that facility. I noticed one time that her son walked over to another baby and pushed the other baby making the other baby fall and cry. The staff member (mother of the boy who pushed another baby) only smiled at her son and told him to not do it again. She did not physically remove her son from the other infant’s vicinity. So, her son continued to walk up to the other baby and once again pushed the other baby down making the other baby cry again.

If you are looking for a safe and clean environment for your child to be in, I would NOT recommend this facility. Your child is better off somewhere else.
