Buyer Beware

Not responsive to calls. Called several times over 1 1/2 months with a problem before getting a call back. Answering service is not even located in CT.



Rip-off: When switching alarm service to a new company, was told that the keypad and alarm box was company equipment and would be removed. The new company had said they replace the keypad and alarm box so seemed ok. When Security Alarm arrived they not only took the keypad and alarm box, but three motion detectors, wireless box, and three smoke alarms! All of these I thought belonged to us, but there is a very small box on the original invoice that states that the equipment belongs to the company.



To replace the smoke detectors that he took, it was $99 each. If we wanted to replace the motion detectors, it would have been $169 for each of the three that he took away. The new alarm company said they never heard of taking this equipment away. Whatever equipment with the new company belongs to us.



Whenever Security Alarm Consultants came to the house for a problem, there was an additional cost on top of the yearly fee. This is not the case with most alarm companies.



This company also goes by Grace Security and Marino Electric.



I would not recommend this company. I feel like my equipment was robbed as this information was not forthcoming upon the installation of the equipment, other than the small fine print.
