We stayed at the Ta-Tel Lodge on 2 very hot summer days. I was dismayed to find that there was no air conditioner. Only a ceiling fan. We were told to just open a window. When I did so, there was toilet paper stuck in the screen to block a hole. In addition the traffic noise was so loud throughout both our nights there that we got very little sleep. The second night was better because we bought ear plugs. While the room was generally clean, there was a spider in the shower & stains on the bedspread. Scary! Even though the price was low ($90's before tax) it really should have been in the $40 range. Better yet, don't waste your hard earned dollars on this place with the empty pool & what looks like permanent tenants.
