The Oak Grove Fire Department works to provide fire suppression and prevention services. It is responsible for offering emergency medical hazardous materials and space emergencies solutions. The department works to sponsor and promote united action by the residents of the community for the protection and preservation of the lives and property against injury and destruction. The Oak Grove Fire Department responds to more than 300 emergency calls annually. It works with a team of over 50 staff members. The department maintains a fleet of engines, cares and mobile support units. The Oak Grove Fire Department is also responsible for administering several fire prevention training programs.
