Reservation made w/Corporate Marriott. Customer service representative at Marriott scheduled reservation for incorrect date. Reservation made with Marriott on Sept 11 for stay on Sept 12. CSR incorrectly scheduled night of stay as Sept 11th. Was driving by car, over 11 hours away from hotel. Mistakes do occur, but main issue here is not scheduling mistake, issue is lack of concern / desire to show care. The Assistant General Manager stated that since reservation had been made w/Marriott Corporate & not directly with hotel, she was under no obligation to correct reservation mistake. She stated that I needed to contact Marriott Corporate to address the error. Asst General Manager unable / unwilling to correct mistake - provide another room & honor previous reservation/payment. Stated I was considered a no show & all she could do was charge me again for available. Needless to say, we decided to find room at another hotel & would NEVER recommend this hotel.
