This week after three and half years using Wowza as my property manager our relationship has come to an end. I will admit that my relationship with Wowza was not always a bed of roses, but we worked through our problems professionally, until this time. Here are the facts:In 3.5 years I had 5 tenants.

Jeff McClintock, by his own admission is unprofessional. He refused to talk to me to iron out our difficulties and then said he did not want me to “bust me up Navy style” because he called my house a “slum”.

Read the reviews on this site and other sites. I came away with several observations. 1) The office staff, with the exception of Jeff, is very nice and friendly. 2) If you want to rubber stamp all of the actions Wowza wants you to do and not question why a repair is necessary, then Wowza is the right company for you.

Tara, the owner, posted a review. Her argument: Wowza is growing and has had problems but they have been resolved. Jeff is the problem, he is still there.

For those of you that like to read reviews before using a product, I would like to say right off the bat that I am the Broker for WOWza Realty. As such most of the reviews are written by tenants that their lease was either not renewed or they did damage to the home.

I work for the OWNER of the home, There have been times that a repair for one reason or the other takes longer then we like. Its not because we are not doing our jobs often its major, like a flood, mold, waiting on insurance companies. We do not like open repairs but we are the middle man at times.

We started in 2008 with zero homes and now we mange hundreds of homes and have doubled our business from last year because we have the best staff and treat people fairly. However, if you don't pay rent. I will evict you, if you damage the home you will pay for it, leave it dirty I will have it cleaned out of your deposit. If you are a responsible tenant you will never hear a peep out of me. And for the record I believe we have the best tenants, the best owners and the best staff in this town. For those that have written these reviews. Let me be the first to apologize if I have offended you in some way. Please do the right thing and tell all sides of the story. Dekon E. is failing to mention the home had 3 baths only one was being worked on and the biggest problem was they seldom let the repair crews in. We did part ways with the owner, but not for the reason given. Dekon E. (NOT REAL NAME) was such a terrible tenant we refused to renew the lease and told the owner we were out as long as these guys were in home. We do make mistakes and we work hard to correct them, this one however is not one of them.

Read and heed

1. Went without a bathroom and bedroom for 2 months waiting on repairs. That's the one thing that they did fix.

2. The owner of Wowza got mad at me because his employee accidently sent all the emails i sent to him, requesting things to be fixed, to the owner of the property. needless to say the owner was furious that they did not make any repairs to the residents. He then called me to let me know that they would no longer be working for home owner and that the two year lease that I just signed with them wasn't worth the paper it was written on.

3. I had two months to find a new place to live. My kids already started school, one with autism.

4. When we did find a house we used them as a reference. We always paid our rent on time and he gave us a bad reference. I asked new real estate agent why he gave us a bad reference. He told me that everyone knows the guy at Wowza is strange but they are thankful for all the business they get from customers he runs off with his bad attitude and service. Thank goodness they didn't take his reference seriously or we might not have got the house we are in now.
