My family moved to this area eight years ago: when my then, 10 year old son wanted to learn how to play bass, we didn't know where to go. We called a couple guitar instructors but didn't get any response from them. Someone referred us to R.A Hicks School of Music, and we were glad we called. Some people can play music but they can't teach; and some people know how to play instruments but they don't know theory. Mr Hicks is all of that; in addition to that, Mr Hicks has a gift of bringing out one's musical talent. He also has excellent work ethics; always on time, never misses class, and he makes sure to let his students know months in advance of his vacation. We love this school and have recommended him to many of our friends.
