I should of left this review a couple of years ago but the experience was so outrageous that it needs to be shared.
I purchased car rims on line. The day they were to be delivered I received a note that said they needed some one to sign and they would make another attempt. The next day, without going home, I decided to just stop at the shipping/receiving center at UPS. I called UPS and left a message. Before I arrive I received a message from UPS that told me that the driver will be going back to the warehouse around 6 PM and I could pick them up there. When I arrived there was a women in the service center who I know has been working there a long time.
I told the UPS women that I was there to pick up the rims and gave the tracking number. The women looked on the computer and then told me they were delivered. I told her they were not and that I received a voicemail that the driver has them. She continued to insist that they were delivered. She was very rude and dismissive of me. I asked to speak to a manager and it was at that point she completely ignored me. I even played out loud the voicemail from UPS that said the driver had them. The wome still ignored me. It was a very bizarre situation, I couldn't believe what was happening.
So finally, I decided to walk around the side of the building to where the drivers were returning and I found the driver with my rims and retrieved them.
I dare anyone from UPS to challenge me on this, I doubt anyone will cause I am sure the nasty women in the shipping/receiving center there has done this before.
There is no excuse for this, I will never set foot in there again. Every once in awhile, I would ship stuff for my employer there as it was on my way home but since that incident, I stopped doing that.

I have nothing but praise for my normal UPS driver Gary! Gary is a true professional in everyway. If all drivers were as courteous and considerate as Gary is there would never be any complaints About UPS deliveries! Living on a private road in Plattekill ny His service is Exceptional. Packages delivered by Gary are always left on my covered front porch and protected from the elements when needed. Other drivers and Company Drivers leave packages out in my driveway or off to the side where they are exposed to the elements and often not found till following morning. Thank you Gary!!

I was scheduled to receive a delivery today, I have to sign for it so I stayed home all day At 3:10 I received an email saying they missed me and I was rescheduled for delivery tomorrow . I live very close to the street and its a very small neighborhood I would know if there was a ups truck on the street ...They didn't even try .I get two more delivery attempts then the package is shipped back at my expense . I didn't even get one attempt.

It's hard to get up our drive after a storm, its true, but UPS's way of contacting you is a post card (which they sent to the wrong address). A post card when they only hold an item for five days is silly in the age of cell phones and email. They also said the drive wasn't plowed when it was. Fed Ex called us they last time after a storm and met us at the end of the drive. UPS means a 40 minute drive into Kingston where they may or may not find your package. Laziness.

Driver(s) couldn't find address 2 times in a row . Another time delivered to wrong address during several months. Was told of his mistake kept delivering to wrong address. Terrible service.

I missed the delivery and was able to have the ups driver come back later, instead of missing it or having to drive to the store or wait until tomorrow to receive it. They were very polite, friendly and helpful, unlike the other UPS I called to find out about the delivery. Thanks UPS !!!!! Made my day.
