If you have moved here from another state save yourself the headache and frustration. Go to the office in Corpus Christi, where you'll be treated like a human being. The employees are disrespectful and just down right rude. I tried six separate occasions to get a Texas Driver License at this location. They continued to find anything possible to deny me. I went once to Corpus and was on my way a half hour later with a new license on the way. I'm just going to say the ugly truth. If you are White, you are going to be discriminated against. As funny as that sounds. I sat in that waiting room for hours only to see the employees allow people who cane after to me to skip right to the head of the line. I listened to the employees discuss getting drivers license with these people. To my dismay they'd say, "Oh, don't worry about having multiple forms of ID, or forget it, you don't need proof of residency, I got you." Finally when I went up there, I asked why these people were allowed to skip me. The employee started she could either help me with my license or I could file a complaint. Basically threatening to not allow me to get a license if I was to stand up for my rights. This location also helped multiple illegal aliens get driver licenses. It's amazing what you can see and hear while waiting for hours upon hours. Disgusting. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
