Did not have a good experience with this tree service. Matt Pruett and Liz came to our property ahead of time to look at the work that needed to be done. They offered a full day price of $1500 to do the work. We showed them the four trees that needed to come down and we asked that they haul away the large oak tree, for extra $300.. They came on November 20 but did not finish hauling away the oak tree and did not come back the next day as stated. The trunk and top portion of the oak tree is still on the ground, which by the way, is exactly the parts we wanted hauled away because the trunk is the heaviest part of the tree. We scheduled a time for another weekend and they did not show up, even after I called to confirm with Liz the time they would arrive. Did not respond to my unhappy phone message right after the no show. I posted a complaint on their facebook page and that got their attention. Spoke with Mr. Pruett and scheduled another time but it was cancelled due to bad weather, which I certainly understand. After that, Mr. Pruett did not reply to my messages and did not make any attempt to reschedule to finish the job even after he told me "we don't leave our customers hanging." Now they claim that there is no road to our property other than going through a cattle pasture (this is untrue, there is a county road) and that they did extra work for us that wasn't in the agreement (untrue), and they are unable to finish the work because we locked the gate and wouldn't let them onto the property, and because of scheduling conflicts. I think they bit off more than they can chew and decided to just quit the job and put the blame on us. I filed a complaint with the BBB and because of my BBB complaint, Mr. Pruett is returning $150 even though the heaviest and most difficult part of the tree is still on the ground and has not been hauled away. I wish this could have been resolved better, but Mr. Pruett is now giving out false information about the circumstances and that's not right. Extremely disappointed in their handling of this job. Very unprofessional.
