Formed in 1999, Kirksville Aquatic Center is one of the recreational service departments of the city of Kirksville, Mo. The department provides a variety of recreational and aquatic therapeutic services. It caters to both the local residents as well as people throughout the northeastern Missouri region. It conducts a host of programs, such as water aerobics lessons, pre-school programs, swimming lessons and American Red Cross training. The Kirksville community has been providing recreational and educational swimming services to the northeastern Missouri region since the mid 1950s.
