Bell Elementary School is located in Kirkwood, N.Y., and houses more than 300 students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade. The school fosters a program of instruction, which is augmented through the resources of classroom teachers, and special area teachers for art, music, physical education and library. Academic Intervention Services teachers for reading and math provide assistance to identified students as needed. A computer lab teacher assistant, two academic tutors and a number of teacher aides complete the faculty. Special activities of the school include parent-teacher organization, building leadership team, an afternoon program, student council, a volunteer program and Bell publishing company. In addition, Bell Elementary School also offers a guidance counselor and a school nurse.
