I wonâÂÂt be using American Home Appliance Repair ever again. Jim came to look at our Maytag washing machine which kept popping the lid latch half way through a cycle. He fitted a new latch, $137.46 but it didnâÂÂt solve the problem. He then said we needed a complete new bottom bearing for hundreds of dollars more. I sourced the problem on the web and fitted a new shift actuator for $50.00 and the washer is working fine now.
I asked for a partial refund because he didnâÂÂt fix the washerâÂÂI did, but he refused, so I wouldnâÂÂt recommend him to anyone else.
