Kristen Strohm is incompetent, untrustworthy, unethical, and unprofessional and her "therapeutic" tactics are archaic and verge on sadistic. She treats mental illness as though it is a crime and should be punished. She does not uphold client confidentiality. As an example, she has told of other clients' diagnosis, religious beliefs, and life styles, freely talking about them in therapy sessions with other clients. Instead of actually listening to the client speak, she constantly talks over and interrupts the client in order to inject her own thoughts that she treats to be more important than what the client is saying. And because she is so busy not listening to the client, she makes her own assumptions that are usually wrong and she will even go as far as putting words in the clients mouth. She refuses to take responsibility for her own actions and behavior, often blaming the client. Her behavior is reminiscent of an alcoholic, where blame and toxic behavior run rampant.
