The groomers are terrible my dog did not like it. They dont treat the dogs with care! Honestly dont bring your dog there. My dog came out paranoid from there.

Tuesday night, March 6, 2012 I walked past my tanks. I could not find Sammy our biggest fantail goldfish. Looked around the tank and found Sammy in one of the decorative rocks. She was stuck. All you could see were her eyes (that looked scared) and the tip of her tail. I have no idea how she got her big body all the way in the rock. I took the rock out and tried to break it but I was scared I would hurt Sammy.



I immediately put the rock with Sammy in it in our travel tank and drove to Pet Smart. I walked in the door and my friend, Raphael, was standing at the register with another young lady. He made sure I did not care that the rock was broken. I told him I didn’t care about the decorations I just want my fish out and live. He said ok. He took the travel tank to the back room. I’m standing at the door peeping through the window like my child was on the operating table. He carefully broke the rock and got Sammy out. He rescued our fish! Long story- short, Raphael has now saved and kept alive two of our fish. He has taught us so much. He not only sold us a gravel vacuum- he showed us how to use it. He not only sold us fish- he taught us how to care for them. He even rescued our Sammy. I love the Knightdale Pet Smart team, especially Raphael! They are so knowledgeable and helpful.
