Parked my travel trailer outside the fenced entrance, then went in to check in. The rates were higher than posted on their website. They charged me $6 for 1 extra 4 year old, which made me feel they were nickel and diming. Fiasco next: There is a median outside the gate preventing me from pulling my 33 foot camper straight through. The back passenger side got caught on the fence because there was not enough room to swing out. A guy on a golf cart came up and told me he saw this happen hundreds of times. Then an old geezer came claiming to be an owner and started cussing at me. Told me to un-hitch the trailer and back in at an angle to move it. Meanwhile, the gate is blocked so no one enters or leaves the grounds. This ordeal took about 30 to 40 minutes. Once done, I went to look for the campsite I was assigned to. Only problem, it was not numbered like the rest of them. Took some asking around to figure out where it was. Got set up about 2 hours after checking in. Thanks to some long term campers that came to our assistance, we finally felt we could relax. The grounds are nice with access to water that we swam in. No complaints there. Left around noon the next day after a nice evening with great weather. I planned ahead of time how to maneuver out the gate and almost hit the median to avoid hitting the fence/gate. They really should get the median out of there. Probably will never go back because of those issues.
