I am a patient at the Lenoir city office. I have been in in severe pain in my hip since the second week in July. I went to Lenoir city office. Was given muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory. And told if it was better in two weeks. That I was to call in and they would refer me to a orthopedic Dr. I tried for over a week to get this referral. They just never got this done. I ended up having to go to a walk in clinic because I was hurting so bad. They did exrays and refered me to a orthopedic Dr. He set me up to have a MRI. It was denied by insurance co. Because I didn't meet criteria. To meet criteria I had to be on anti-inflammatorys for six weeks. In the mean time I have had to go to another walk in clinic and three visits to the ER because of pain. Have had additional xrays two seperate ultra sounds.keep be told I need MRI.Now I have now been on anti-inflammatorys as required. Now I can't any help threw Cherokee.

Meeting all kinds of resistance. I need your help i have hurt long enoug

I am very disgusted with Dr. Yates. This man was so concerned about the complete occlusion of my right carotid then my heart even though he did do a echo cardiogram. The occlusion a vascular surgeon will have to fix not a cardiologist. Long story short, had a heart attack and was rushed to Park West. They did a heart cath, put in a stint. My new cardiologist said that if Dr. Yates had done a heart cath instead of worrying so much about that he would have found 4 places in my heart that are damaged. He could have fixed it and probably wouldn't have had the heart attack.

Poor pharmacy

If I could I would only give a 1/2 star. You call in a refill 3 days prior expecting it to be ready. Then they tell you they've had it but its going to be 2 hours more. This isn't the first time. I received mess from drug manufacturer for free. But they charge a handling fee. If I could afford to pay something I would. This place sucks. They don't care about us low income people. That they are there to help.

I was told to call everyday to check because all appointment spots were full, which I did. The second day I called I was given an appointment. I expected to have to call more often, but someone canceled their appointment, that day. It's something we have to deal with in life.

I was seeing a mental health specialist on a set schedule every other week at the Powell location. Then management decided to only book one week in advance.... It took me 6 months to finally get on a set schedule and all shot to hell in a single visit because all future appt had to be cancelled!
