Having never been in this shop before I was surprised at the way I was treated without a greeting or an acknowledgement when I entered. I had an appointment to bring in clothes ($8000.00) retail value, for review. I had to ask if the appointment was still open and I received a short yes. No one even offered to help bring the clothes into the shop. The first thing they told me was to sign a contract giving them the right to value my clothes and other things after I had left the shop and they had time to do it. I asked if that could be done while I was there and was told an emphatic no. Many of my clothes had never been worn and had tags on them but one sweater was rejected because it had a very slight pick. In the end, I wondered what I was doing there so I gathered my things and left. In leaving, I noticed a stack of handbags and they were called designer so I stopped for a look. The most expensive bag on the table was a D&B and they had told me on the phone they sold top designer bags and my Marc Jacobs wouldn't sell. It retailed for over $1500.00, does not have a scratch on it and the inside is pristine. I would never trust this shop.
