Farragut High School, located in Knoxville, Tenn., offers its services to more than 2,000 students in grades nine through 12. The school is affiliated with the Knox County School District. It offers various main academic subjects, including English, mathematics, science and social studies. Its elective subjects include language, vocational studies, fine arts and business technology. The fine arts department offers band, orchestra, chorus and drama courses. The school associated with various organizations, such as the computer club, language clubs, Amnesty International, drama and forensic and the National Honor Society. It has a virtual library offering online dictionaries, encyclopedias, newspapers, magazines and journals and various resource sites, including art, film and fine arts and music. Farragut High School also provides a variety of athletics that include baseball, basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, softball, lacrosse, tennis, golf, wrestling, swimming, rock climbing, cross country, and track and field.
