After calling this company and needing a carpet installer, I was contacted by a subcontractor of this firm and was scheduled for installation. I was than contacted again and was put off for another day. I in turn contacted my customer and rescheduled. I was told by the subcontractor that he would call me at 4:00pm the next day to confirm and that he would install the carpet at 5:00pm. When 4:00pm came around, I received no phone call. After several calls from myself to Kevco and the subcontractor I finally reached Dale (Kevco Representative or Owner, I am still unclear of this). I was told by Dale that his sub would be calling me and to have a nice day and he hung up. I was then contacted by the sub nearly 20 minutes later at around 4:50pm when we were supposed to be at my customers house and was told that they would not be able to do the installation. This was a very unprofessional way to conduct business by both Kevco and the subcontractor. I would seriously consider using another company before calling Kevco Carpet & Vinyl.
